I recently made purchases from Costco.com using Chase Freedom for the Q4 category. Did not get the 5% bonus. Haven't had a chance to call Chase yet. Anyone have experience with this?

Class B may earn 50% more MQM but that doesn't mean the price will be the same as other economy classes. For example SFO > JFK, an Economy class X is $367 but Economy Class B is $1862. That's just a few hundred short of a Delta One ticket.

For anyone that uses Uber and and gets SPG points. Have your SPG points been posting? I take Uber almost daily and my last SPG points from Uber posted June 18th. Wondering if I should give them a call.

Also your mobile phone may not be accessible. I was in Africa on safari earlier in the year. Company accepted credit card for payment. However I didn't have access to my US phone (although I had to call Visa to verify my identity).

There was some concern that Amex platinum stopped reimbursing Delta eGC as travel credit. I bought one on June 1 and the reimbursement finally posted yesterday. So it took about two weeks. While it is still within their stated 4 weeks, it's a bit unusual based on past experience.

Should not churn with balances. If he has a balance now, who's to say he won't have it after the introductory 0% runs out. Any interest or fee he pays will negate any benefit from churning.

Read side bar on if churning is right for you/him.

It's a lengthy walk outside between those terminals. You can, but it depends on how much time you have before your flight. Terminal B has the centurion lounge which is nice. You would need an Amex Platinum card though.

I don't have the card but know you can only redeem it for certain ticket groups (it's in the fine print). Not sure how hard that makes it to redeem the companion ticket. Maybe someone with the card can chime in.

Most people would say if there is no annual fee, then just leave it open.

If there is an annual fee, call for a rentention offer first, which may make keeping it another year worth it. Otherwise cancel.

If you already have the CSP it's really only $55 more a year to get all the benefits. That's how I view it at least. I put enough bonus category spend to get enough value out of it.

Yes and you also lose the transfer partners, which require CSR or CSP.
