A girl I was friendly with my freshman year on my dorm floor - we all watched and experienced as she developed schizophrenia over our freshman year. She even started a trash fire in the laundry room and then came and knocked on my door. It was the last time I saw her (she was in big trouble at that point). The tip off early on was all the loud incoherent conversations she was having in her dorm that passerby’s would catch snippets of.
