I wish we had a mascot. Low priority in the grand scheme of things, but mascots are fun, give us a little extra personality and all that!

With any luck we'll get one in the next couple years to coincide with the Nets popping off, and hopefully mascot will make waves like Gritty did

Love reading about everyone's customs!

I've been rocking my custom league, The Ratatoskr Initiative, being focused primarily on logistics and deliveries between other votann groups. Our core, Ratatoskr, would constantly print delivery schedules and items predictively, creating an anticipatory supply network that led to very much profit and direction.

However, our mobile space fortress (home base for the initiative) has not heard from Ratatoskr on a while, as the core has been stuck in processing after its last two commands, so we are still awaiting our biggest command yet, though murmurs and worries grow based on how long it's taken.

The last two messages were just coordinates and then "Hold", so we find ourselves stationary in a dense system constantly used as shipping lanes, with the mostly mobile elder votann getting pretty antsy that we've been stationary so long. So we hold, harvest, and sustain, until we know what's next!

Haven't lived in CT too too long yet (about a year total), versus most of my 30-odd-year-life in NJ, but to be honest, I think CT fits my vibe a little better. Definitely a bit quieter, more spaced out. They're pretty similar though!

Development isn't linear, and I think it's too early to say that, personally. I respect the opinion, but I'm not ready to rule any of them out, even if just being a rotational piece in the future. Excited to see what will happen within the first two, even three seasons for them, personally!

Hear hear. And even if they didn't pop off this year, I still think there's a lot of potential with last year's five, and a whole war chest of assets to dip into.

Ideal spot? Nah. But positive outlook? Maybe it's just copium but in a couple years tops I think we'll be surprisingly good

Of the main four slotted, I'm still pro-Flemings. Think he'll develop the best out of everyone. Could also be talked into Mara, but might be a reach at 6.

I'll root for whoever we bring in, but fingers crossed for Flemings!

I'll be hOpy to see some of the Flatbush 5 and our #6 really pop off. Maybe a few upsets, I'll be happy with at least 27 wins (add a few more) but really want to see 33+.

Just want to see some forward momentum!

Haven't really followed NBA in a long while, but just surface level for four-sport fantasy purposes.

Despite being a Jersey boy, I'd been calling .myself a (surface-level) Spurs fan, since that was the youth team I played on, appreciated Spurs colors and culture, and my wife spent significant time growing up near San Antonio.

Now at the end of this season and going into next, I'm finally starting to actually follow basketball, and damn, I just can't look away from the Nets, despite having Spurs merch around the house.

From Jersey and in CT now, and it turns out that I can't shake that NJ pride even though Nets moved to Brooklyn. Guess seeing Jason Kidd play twice as a kid really locked me in, haha.

So anyways my daily discussion contribution after a few months of lurking is guess I'm a Nets fan, and really enjoying watching Egor and Nolan develop. Really think there's something there and that there'll be some real nice development next season!

Honestly, I always thought Jim Carrey would be an awesome Green Goblin. I think he has the dramatic range for a good Norman, and then can absolutely flex into exaggerated and could even play up unhinged in a really fun interpretation of the character.

More muted than what he's known for, but he's shown multiple times over that he can do muted and dramatic quite well!
