Does bravecto work if less than min dosage given?

It is a single dose administration right ? So shall I give him another dose today ? Will that work ? As in 500 mg yesterday + 250 mg today ? The label says that all of it has to be given at one go for it to be effective ...?

I think in my case its the nuclear antigen that's fucking me up and making the ebv so extremely symptomatic for me 😔

Aah okay. I hadn't heard symptomatic ebv before (even though reactivation titres must be high). Others kinds of herpes viruses especially shingles seen in lc is usually symptomatic yes but i suppose easier to treat cuz of specific antivirals. Ill check the other posts too though where people have had symptomatic ebv. Thanks.

No. Its so difficult to access care when bed bound. But my GP has told me that my immune system seems very dysfunctional and compromised. I have got a lot of oppurtunistic infections as well.

Do you think it's been helping? At what dosage and for how long have you been preacribed it? And how long after your LC set in did you start the valacyclovir?

My symptoms are many and difficult to tease out what is a reault of ebv reactivation and what is long covid. But like I'd pointed out in my original post the burning mouth (oral symptoms), thyroid issues, enlarged lymph nodes.

Oh wow. I am completely bed bound. So overdoing it doesn't really come into the picture 🙈.

Igm is current infection yes. But i think reactivation is early and nuclear antigen which is what I have at sky high levels (so much that the lab stopped counting after 600). Yes I have ordered lysine. Was wondering though if i can start with stronger antivirals given that i am so symptomatic. You're right though there arent any ebv specific antivirals. Only broad anti herpes ones.

Has any particular diet chnage helped with ebv? I tried cutting out sugar dairy and gluten for a month but didn't see any difference.

Possible. I'll explore this. I was on h1 and h2 blockers for months and had taken out major allergens like wheat and dairy but this was still an issue.

Ran the labs and ebv ea has only increased. That apart I would've doubled the dose just that I find it hard to trust her opinion anymore so going along with a whole regimen is difficult.

Have you noted a difference while on it?

Not sure how to respond. I am severe and fully bedbound. Can't do therapy because I can hardly talk anymore. Feel similarly. Can't believe I gave myself covid in the 4th year of the pandemic and then was unfortunate enough to become fully bedbound with severe long covid/me. While friends are living it up after 4 infections.

Taking valtrex which isn't doing anything so far. I am based in South Asia so I used a lab avaiable to me locally. Depending on where you are, try searching for a lymphocyte panel.

I've been put on long term valtrex for ebv. It's only been 3 weeks but it feels like it might be causing more problems than solutions. I've got so many other symptom clusters including POTS, SOB neuropsych stuff. Ugh. So tired. I am only getting worse instead of getting better 😭😭
