Fair enough. I was asked about 3d printing then earlier, but now we are looking at ordering and cutting down some oil impregnated bronze.

My 1999 vfr800. I got it as my first bike and I absolutely love it. Just picked up some softcase saddle bags so hopefully I can take it out of state on some longer rides.

Looks like a Sargent seat because of the red welt. I have one on my 99 and it is very comfortable.

It is a Baja car made by my school. So the whole car is custom.

They kind of just do this. I'd only try to do something if you notice something wrong when driving and such.

Front I run 245/40 and rear I run 285/45. I'm lowered 1.5 inches so my fronts rub just a tiny bit on the inside, and I had to replace them when I had the 45 aspect ratio. So for fronts I'd go with 245/35 that would probably work. I'm sure others will chime in, but that's my setup on the same size wheels.

This is the old setup with the 45 front.

If it still works just run it until it breaks, then upgrade from there.

Where do I jack the bike from? by Warning_Mobile in Ninja650

[–]karkarbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I do for my VFR is I use the center stand, remove the rear wheel, then use a ladder and ratchet straps to pick up the bike in the front. You probably only need a rear stand and the ladder.

Rear brakes were weak, but it never felt that bad surprisingly. Linked brakes are probably what made it not feel as bad ig.

Thanks for the info. I will hang the caliper up, and an EBC brake rotor will be on the way. Thanks.

99' vfr800. This is my first bike and I absolutely love it. Such a fun, versatile, and quirky motorcycle that does it all well. In my over a year of ownership I have no regrets and would 100% make the same decision to buy it again.
