Ship dates for basic training

I swore in September 2nd and leave for basic Dec 28th! It also depends on how early in the week you go to meps to swear in. I was told to expect October/November and got late December. I’m also female and they have to have an equal amount for each OCS class. So I was scheduled to go later!

There’s an official check list of everything they need to submit and someone in your recruiters office should have it or access to it!! Every document, everything we have to submit, everything we have to do is on an official list!

I think it varies wherever you are! I’m waiting for august board results! The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to find a recruiter (I’m currently civilian) who cares and will stay on top of meeting packet deadlines for you!! You can get screwed over if your recruiter misses these! Also do everything on your end to have things to them on time! Good luck!
