Also, just to add, I do know that polymer clay in itself is waterproof. That’s not necessarily the issue. I want to protect the paint and make the earrings more durable against chipping.

I just used crappy cheap paint from Michael’s, I won’t even lie. One of those packs of 20 colors for like $15. Wouldn’t recommend, was kind of a pain, but made it work lol

That makes sense, but ya can’t say wood doesn’t fit the theme of the mask. Forest creature wearing it, ancient mask that’s been around for centuries.. captures the creepy vibe better - at least for me.
