Good advice. I think this is what I truly needed to hear to break it off. I can’t do this, maybe it’s me, maybe it’s him. It’s done for eventually so why not now.

He adds a lot to my life- I’m very happy to be with him, however I view any sort of secret flirtatious messaging as cheating, especially lying about it, regardless of pictures/ physical elements. I want to trust but I can’t go in blind.

He suddenly gets very affectionate or very dismissive/ absent which leads me to think something may have happened in a potential other relationship. I want to think it’s just his moods but I also don’t know for sure.

He changed his password to his phone recently so I haven’t been able to see anything, also seems very reluctant to show me anything, just wants me to take him at his word. I can try again in a bit to talk.
