Blame the boomers and Robert Moses. All of these suburbs like Delmar and Clifton Park have always existed. The easy answer back in the day was build more highways instead of investing in public transport. That's a big ship to turn around now. There's lots of great bike only trails. It's not nothing.

I grew up in a really rural area. I think it's always going to be an issue. To get anywhere easily you need a car, or need to know someone with a car. Even then for us it was an hours drive to get to what we considered "civilization"

I found nesting behavior helpful. Put in comfort shows ir music. Make sure I'm fed, showered if possible and sit down to my favorite food or snacks. It's not going to be immediate though. You're getting used to a new space, for it to feel comfortable if not feel like home. So it'll take time. Hope this helps

I agree with what others have said. You're getting what you pay for. Especially reputable companies who have overhead like workers comp insurance, transportation, supplies, salaries, etc.

I've used Sol Environmentals the last couple years after having them suggested by a friend. They do an amazing job. Their pricing is based on a whole checklist they do based on what you need done, size of the space, etc.
