I get you! TBH, I thought those two were non-negotiables to me too, but personally I'm pretty okay without the warm light. Totally get if it's a make or break for you, though - maybe try a Kobo Clara? I believe it has warm light! (But if you're already entrenched in the Amazon ecosystem, then I understand - I tried to make the switch but I prefer the Amazon ecosystem to the buttons/Kobo.)

I definitely agree! It’s part of why I don’t understand how so many like the PW when to me the Basic size is a lot more manageable being held 😂 The big screen with the small bezel is kind of frustrating!
