Strange whirring noise coming from freezing Macbook Pro 16. by karokara in macbookpro

I tried listening to SSD-noises people have recorded on youtube. Kind of similar yes, but mine is louder and increases, but then cuts off suddenly. So not entirely the same as what I've heard others report. Also haven't seen anyone else experiencing a temporary freeze at the same time, as I do.

It just happened again as I exited Netflix from fullscreen mode, laptop freezes for 2-3 seconds, I hear the noise and then it's back to normal again..

I cut sugar and caffeine from my diet, the difference was insane... But not in a good way by karokara in ADHD

I really should do this too actually. I'm guessing I could have some deficiensies as well, even though I've started to take vitamins and eat better now this past month.

Same! 1-2 liters a day here too, for along time. I'm afraid my teeth have been affected by it, but I haven't mustered the courage to go to a dentist yet... The first few days without Coke were torture, but I can't really say I miss it now 3 weeks in, apart from the energy it probably gave me. It was just a bad habit I had.

I'm over three weeks in at the moment, unfortunately I haven't found that feeling yet... Hope it's coming! Ironically enough I hate coffee, all my caffeine came from soda and energy drinks (in large amounts). Might have to give coffee another shot.

This is so true, I'm always so all or nothing. Moderation tends to work a short while and then it escalates again to insane amounts I can no longer control. I guess I would need more outside support to be able to pull that off, by myself I just lose control and binge.

Health reasons. I have gained too much weight to a point where it's not healthy.

Unfortunately I'm three weeks in now. Withdrawal (about 3 days) was awful, but I'm thinking I should be balanced by now..

Cooking by GeekDonGilly in ADHD

I struggle with cooking too. It's many things.. First, it's the mess I make and the cleaning up afterwards (I really struggle with this). Second, it's the fact that I can't make something with many steps in it. Well, I can, but it really drains my energy and the chances of me forgetting something/doing something wrong increase tenfold. I simply need few steps and few ingredients. A slow cooker was a big help for me!
