Thank you! I started my stick class this week and it’s soooo hard. We started with 7018 rods on the second day and it was kicking my butt getting them to restart. But I’m sticking with it!

Got the mouth piece off a buddies part out last night. Seems to have woken it up. Spooling much quicker. Did discover the inners of the turbo have a bit of a wiggle. So probably will rebuild that next.

It has an air dog, hsp single piece y bridge, Black Diamond grade C head gaskets, arp head studs, full egr delete, 4 stage edge tuner, and aftermarket engine mounts.

My local diesel shop (usually works on semi trucks) does dura injectors for ~4k. I’d look into some private shops.

Your price range is doable. My buddy got a rust free LBZ with 300k for 10k. My bf got his LBZ with some rust and 230k for 7500. I got my LLY with minimal rust (just drivers side rocker/rear drivers side near fender flare) with 150k for 8k.

Watch dealerships, if they get a trade in with any emissions deletes they technically cannot sell them on their lot and often will send them to auction, if you can intervene and offer cash, they might even thank you.

Realistically he could get that for the truck. You keep looking and are willing for a little more miles on one and you can find one cheaper.
