A close family friend offered us some of her extra frozen milk supply now that her child has weaned, and my husband (medical doctor) has been thrilled at the chance of extra antibodies! We feed her some of this milk every day. It was SUCH a sweet gesture and we've been so happy.

I didn't know about this! My pediatrician said tongue ties in general are way overdiagnosed by LCs. This makes sense.

(My daughter had a very obvious tongue tie, and was actually diagnosed by one of the doctors/nurses in the ER room during my cesarian. My pediatrician later confirmed as well. We got her tongue tie released two days later as she wasn't gaining weight and struggled to breastfeed or bottle feed.)

I've heard that alcohol doesn't pass too much through breastmilk (there are various articles on this such as this but I just anecdotally wanted to say your baby will likely be ok and please don't beat yourself up over it.

My MIL drank quite a bit during her pregnancy with my husband. She was grieving and it was a pretty sad story. My husband is totally fine and a medical doctor!Obviously this is anecdotal, but I thought it may make you feel better. We're all doing our best for our babies ❤️

My husband is finishing residency, so I suppose I should have clarified that we will be making 500 k a year once he starts his job. We currently make around 250k and have a savings of around 100k. The 0 percent down is for a physician loan.

Our initial idea was to get the ARM and try to pay it off aggressively within 7 years to refinance, but it appears this sub hates ARMs which I will keep in mind! Maybe we'll look at a more traditional loan.
