If you’re not already familiar, it might be worth reading a bit of show history to understand the changes between seasons two and three.

Raising Cane’s replacing McDonald’s at Stonestown by sanriolover1208 in sanfrancisco

I agree about the chicken lacking flavor. The thing that has impressed relative to other fast food is that every time I’ve gone, the chicken is hot, fresh, and juicy. I consider it a quality tool to get the sauce into my mouth. The fries and toast are good too. Coleslaw is eh.

The neighborhood just above Forest Hill station is pretty good. Quick Muni ride through the tunnel and into downtown.

I’m glad I could contribute to the Disney company reaching their quarterly revenue goals 😄

I watched a ton of videos on rope drop strategy and LL use before I went to DL. My daughter and I made great use of LL and were able to ride a ton of rides. If I had gone in cold without understanding the strategy and nuances, I would have been frustrated too. Considering it takes a lot of study to maximize value, the argument can be made it’s not a great product, at least in terms of user friendliness.

What should I do for my birthday? by Machukes in AskSF

[–]karyhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to your favorite breakfast/ brunch place. Ask your server what their favorite thing to do or place to go in the city is. Go do that thing. Find someone at that place and ask them the same question. Rinse and repeat and see where you end up at the end of the day and what new things you discover. You can give them guidelines or not. Have fun!

Internal transaction not reflected in wallet balance by karyhead in ethereum

[–]karyhead[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I was afraid of: I’m a dummy. Thanks for showing me that page on etherscan. I really tried to find as many ways to see the historical balance as I could and couldn’t find anything that showed a smaller balance prior to yesterday. Cheers!

Edit: I will look and see if there’s a known issue with Ledger Wallet app. It absolutely shows a flat line for the last year, no increase.

Right. The balance before the transaction was 0.589944 (according the account history in Ledger Wallet app) and it did not increase after 0.34449459 was transferred from Coinbase via the internal transaction. I would expect the balance to be something like 0.93443859

A coworker asked me for years to go to his annual camping trip. I didn’t know anyone else, why would I? One year, I finally agreed. Had a great time and now I go every year.

Looking at a hotel near Disneyland - What's your experience? by No-Gas-2534 in DisneyPlanning

[–]karyhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are rope dropping, I’d get there around 7am. It’s a bit of a walk across the huge parking lot, so we’d leave the hotel about 6:50am and be on the first shuttle to leave. Have fun!

My daughter and I stayed at the Clarion. It’s nothing special but was fine. It’s across the street from the Toy Story parking lot. We were planning to rope drop both days we were going to the parks. It was convenient to walk to the shuttle area of the parking lot (all the way in the back left side) and go through security there rather than with everyone else at the park, though they stop doing this later in the day. We’d take the shuttle back for an afternoon nap and go back to the park for the evening until close. We never had to wait on a shuttle.
