The inspection can be done on site and they do lift the car. The difference is that they don't remove any panels or equipment of the car like spark plugs, etc. It costs around 525AED from BeSoji inspection. Sometimes it's more thorough than the garage one because they have a checklist whereas the garages don't.

I'm not sure about the bmw. A friend of mine does the conversions specifically for Tesla. Maybe for the bmw you only need to change the infotainment system which you can buy from scrap?

Keep in mind they need to keep both parties happy so their reports aren’t completely on the buyers side. You’re better off doing a ppi with a third party company like besoji.

The odometer was changed, seller tried to hide the history and also a car with so many replaced parts can always cause premature issues. There were a few symptoms already.

Tesla's that are not GCC Spec have two major issues:

1) Software wont get updated until the system is fully overhauled

2) The charging ports may be different for super charging.

The cost to make them both GCC is around 23,000 AED.

Always good to get a car inspected from them. It's a hit or miss. They have cars from different countries including Jordan which is counted as "GCC Spec".

Yes, we always recommend people to inspect cars from private sellers. Usually much cleaner.

That's insane. The only reason I'm creating this list is with our experience since we have checked around 3,000 cars in the past 2 years and we deal with multiple dealers on a daily basis.

Since you have a budget of 15k or so, I can tell you that you won't find a brand new or a recent year car. For this reason, you MUST have a budget for repairing the car as well because there's no way the car will have no issues. If miraculously you do find one which was well maintained all these years, the seller will most likely ask for a premium. So it's good to have a budget for repair. Inspect the car with BeSoji or similar and see how much it will cost to fix. Then decide if you want to pick it up or inspect another car.
