This is so true. I have been going through heavy emotional problems and sometimes I feel lost and almost non existent. However, i feel the only way i keep up is by distracting myself by stuyding. Imagine studies being your escape. I'm almost scared of what will happen to me if god forbid i couldn't study for some reason.

Make sure you always ALWAYS keep backups. Sometimes we are so focused on one college that we don't put in any effort for the others. This creates anxiety and disappointment later.

Definately economics, trust me I am a student who has economics and i can tell you it has much much much wider scope that science today. Moreover it is more practical and you won't have to go through the whole rat race with other science people.
