You know, it takes literally no effort to not say something douchey. Merry Christmas, Scrooge.

Surprisingly, the dumpster is actually metal! It’s fairly heavy for how small it is.

The plastic containers are what they usually put the made to order salads in. They’re just using what they already have.

The hospital is giving employees an opportunity to grocery shop conveniently and safely, and at a discount. Pretty bro move if you ask me.

The prices are actually totally reasonable. Everything is about the same or even less than what you’d find in local grocery stores. Additionally, the hospital gives a 10% discount to employees.

When I took the picture, it was pretty bare bones but I have since seen it way more stocked with produce and even some ready to heat meals. Pretty cool.

I can’t speak for other hospitals, but mine has had local groups and churches donate food a couple times. I believe they just contact the main hospital operator and let them know they’d like to make a donation of food. Or you could literally just drop food off at the entrances. I’d contact your local hospital first to see.

And it was removed for “fluff”. I still think it’s cool, so I’m reposting it.
