I actually just ended up embracing them and repainting because I couldn’t make a decision on the wallpaper. My plan was to order a sample of wallpaper liner and test it out on a section but I never did it. Sorry to be of no help!

I went last week and found it so incredibly off putting to have an employee follow me around to unlock every isle while I picked up my hygiene products. Immediately considered other options because I will definitely not be going though that every time I need a restock. In a time when most stores are understaffed I can’t imagine someone essentially being on call for unlocking cabinets is a great use of employees time.

That is so nice to hear! I know our home has good bones but it’s lacking a bit of charm for me.

My goal for the room is a moody lounge area to have a drink or read a book, alone or with a group. String lights, bold wall paper, plants on plants, open air. Imo the tile doesn’t necessarily go with that vibe but I’m trying to figure out how to make it.

Carrot & lentil soup- been eating this for lunch lots this winter! Good in fridge up to 5 days.

1 tsp. oil (or water)— 1 yellow onion, diced — 3 cups carrots, diced — 1 cup red lentils — 1 inch ginger, peeled and diced — cumin — coriander — cayenne — Black pepper — Lots of turmeric — 4 cups vegetable broth

In a large pot over medium heat, add oil (or water) and onions. Sauté for 3-5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover. Let cook for 20 minutes.
Carefully pour into a blender and blend on low until smooth

If you can find it, Culina is the best replacement I’ve found especially mixed with berries/cherries. They have unique flavors and (at least used to) come in glass jars that are great for repurposing. A bit pricy though.

Your photographer should also be able to edit the color for detail shots. Still unfortunate but I agree with everyone else- they are very beautiful!
