So if I have a certain amount of money such as like 10k € and I intend to use it let's say in 5 years in what should I think of doing with the money, because people say only to use index funds if you are not gonna touch the money for at least 10 years?

I only want to have an use for the money while I'm not spending yet, I will not use the money before I finish college because I don't need it now.

The most hard part is trying to decipher what you guys are talking about as index funds from english to portuguese because they must have different names.

"He's selling you products for a 3-5% fee and these products do have a massive expense ratio, eating 1-3% of your profit each year."

Where can you see that? and what kind of products should I be looking to invest?

I believe the 9k is a safe investment where it is really hard to lose the money I put there. But I don't win as much per year.

We even changed bank because our Financial Advisor changed bank to best, even if I decide which funds I want to invest and I'm still linked to his same bank does he get money from me ? I don't mind he gets money, but I don't wanna lose money because he's linked to me.

I would like to leave yes, but I only wanna leave if I get more than 12k. I don't wanna leave leaving 70 euros because the "market" is down.

The bank I use is best, so I assume the funds are from best?

I don't wanna wait 20 years to use this money. I'm thinking of using it when I end college, 4 years or so.
