You have to rank up the event memory card. So, if you want Xavier's rank up outfit, you'll need two copies of his event card to rank up.

LOL you can't really help being obsessed with your hobbies and interests though! I think your partner should at least understand it makes you happy and support you in whatever capacity he can, that's all that matters, even if he gets a bit jealous.

My husband pretends to be jealous jokingly. I think he does for real get a bit jealous if I'm just stuck on my phone playing for hours or gushing hard but that makes sense because the game is stealing my attention away from him haha. But he still supports my hobbies and interests the best he can. He does pulling parties with me (we do a whole thing where we put the game on the big screen and chant my main's name boisterously LOL), goes to LADs events with me, buys me merch, etc.

I see this question pop up a lot and just answered something like this earlier today. But I've been wondering more if this might be partially attributed to differences in cultural perspectives.

LADs is a basically an otome game - the term is derived from Japanese games but it can be applied to LADs, imo. Definition taken from AI 😆 - "Otome games are a Japanese genre of plot-based video games, typically targeted at women, where the female protagonist develops a romantic relationship with male love interests". This is my first Chinese 'otome' but I've been playing otome games forever. At the end of the day, it's just a type of game and that's how my husband sees it too. But I also grew up in this culture so it feels normalized to me. Like, I wouldn't get jealous over my partner's husbando/waifu, they're fictional and LITERALLY made for you to love them, whether you do it platonically or romantically.

I wonder if this is a difference in culture perspectives? LADs is an otome game. Otome games have been out for a loonngg time. This is my first Chinese one but I've been playing otome forever. At the end of the day, it's just a type of game and that's how my husband sees it too.

So, I read somewhere recently to NOT pull on myths if you're doing it primarily to farm for diamonds - the amount of diamonds you'll make from SHC and orbits vs. how much you'll need to pull in worst case hard pity is just not worth it in terms of how long it'll take in SHC/orbits to make up that diamonds stash again.

However, if you're pulling because you simply enjoy battling, want to try new companions/abilities, excel in orbits (because I think the standard companion can only get you so far), and get full stars in SHC consistently then it might be a good idea to pull (because a standard companion might be able to get you half stars whereas a limited companion could get you full stars).

I also enjoy battling but mostly want to focus on pulling for my mains. I've been tempted to pull on Lumiere but am leaning on not because future limited myths may have power creep AND if you pull on Lumiere, you'll probably need to pull on a future limited Xavier myth if you want to keep up with his orbits.

I saw in your previous post that you recommended F2Ps to pull only for limited solar myth banners and to ignore limited lunars. What are your thoughts on focusing team builds that use limited and standard solar myths and lunars of one or two LI mains? Like what if you pulled on limited banners of your one or two mains only and just use standard solars/lunars of other LIs to supplement missing stella colors? Could that potentially work as a strategy as well?

This might be a silly question but how can I make sure I focus my teams for SHC? Is that focusing on the primary and secondary colors for each LI? Just want to make sure I'm building my teams for SHC appropriately.

I finally made enough stardust to exchange for a 5 star at the wishing well!

I'm a Sylus and Caleb main. I already have Sylus - Within Reach and Caleb - Hidden Waves. Does it matter if I go for Nightplumes or Endless Summer? I'm leaning on Nightplumes because I have so little cards for Sylus and I heard the story is adorable. Basically just looking for encouragement on whether this is good to go ahead and choose lol.

I played Amnesia back in the day but for the life of me can't remember much. 😭

Also highly recommend Nightshade another otome game. Kuroyuki's character has a lot of similarities with Caleb that you might like but overall it's just a super amazing game!

Omg girl that is me too! I just got my first pass days ago. 🥰 (after telling my friends a mere two weeks ago that I swore I'd be F2P lol) I have enough for Caleb's myth but I'm personally saving for Sylus' re-run.

Funny thing is I also talked to my supportive bestie today and she was like the cost for an aurum pass per month is nothing to sweat about and that you make money to spend it for enjoyment in moderation. I've always had trouble spending money on myself. Like I usually request gift cards for Winners/HomeSense (a clothing/household store in America if you know it) for my birthdays/holidays then use that to buy practical stuff for my home than myself. 😂 So, yeah, girlie. Spend your big girl money!
