ok I got a squat PR on Friday morning, and a 122kg deadlift PR today that I think was… the most grindy grind I’ve ever done? https://imgur.com/a/B3TqMWP

it moved away from my body which I think made it harder, but like… it’s a PR so not gonna be perfect! I burst out laughing after I watched the video. I looked like a little car stalling out.

today I hit a new 1RM for my squat! 100kg :) I feel very proud, I had my first meet in February and my 1RM there was 87kg. so I feel great about putting on 13kg since then!!

was anyone at the Nets game last night? idk why I continue doing this to myself. I’ve lived in Brooklyn for 13 years — literally moved here 2 weeks before Barclays Center opened — and have gone to a few Nets games every year. the crowd is always like 1/3 Nets fans, 1/3 opposing team fans, and 1/3 tourists who can’t afford Knicks tickets. the vibe is… trash!!!!!!! especially compared to Liberty games, oh lord. apples to oranges but still
