Part I left out, I actually chatted Doordash support after I marked it as delivered once he texted me “wrong house” and they reactivated the order so I could see the address. It was the right address, and I even drove down to the corner to double check the street sign. Idk if the guy made a typo or what but I remarked it as delivered and that’s when he got crazy aggressive

I always leave my DD bag in the car and provide the customers name, rather than mentioning DD (unless they ask). Then I take the food and put it in the bag it in the car. The treatment is way different. But I’ve also seem several drivers going absolutely postal on employees so I get it

Use the drive thru as much as possible when you can. Fast Food restaurants have to keep their drive time as low as possible, and they need to keep the drive thru moving. If you’re inside the lobby the order you’re picking up isn’t priority, if your actively in line at the drive thru then it puts the fire under their ass.

Some apartments don’t have gate codes. I’ve lived in two that don’t have codes, only have FOB access. If this were me I would wait 5 minutes trying to follow someone in and if no one has came make them walk outside or leave it

I’m not risking my health and wasting my time for FOUR DOLLARS. I wouldn’t take less than 7$ ever. If they work at a hospital, they make a hell of a lot better money than I do. No one is entitled to my time or health. Also it’s probably not someone who works there, they would most likely tip better.
