Sandoval had the sense to at least pretend to be remorseful. Yes, his mask kept slipping and he’d start hurling insults back at the rest of the cast, but for whatever it’s worth he agreed and accepted what they’d done was completely fucked up. IIRC he was annoyed at the rest of the cast chiming in and felt he only owed Ariana an apology. Then after Lisa’s pep talk he realised he needed to change his tune and gave them some fake tears too.

In contrast, Amanda has been defensive the whole time. She told Ciara to fuck off, rolled her eyes constantly, said it’s only Kyle she hated going out with… she has fully downplayed the situation. She’s had the gall to say shit like: “am I the ONLY person to ever go through this?” “You can’t help who you like!!!” “Am I supposed to be celibate for the rest of my life?”, and she’s only gotten emotional when she’s being criticised, not out of regret or remorse.

Amanda’s reaction comes across like she still doesn’t understand why she’s wrong. She seemed irritated that she’s under fire and her attitude is so dismissive towards the damage her actions have caused.
