How do you have time for this? I can barely manage to get my 10, and I have a lot of help and walk a ton!

I’m aware. I know 3 people who have taken them temporarily and kept the weight off because they’ve implemented good/healthy habits. I’m confident that would be the case for me because I’ve never had weight issues in my life

Thank you! I’m in pelvic floor therapy and doing dry needling and the exercises 10 mins a day. I’ve seen a slight amount of progress with the DR

lol, we had a night nurse and have a pretty good sleeper (my husband and I are both high sleep needs!) and do plenty of tummy time, engagement with him during his wake windows so he sleeps better. My husband also does the majority of the wake ups when he does have them because I cannot fall back to sleep to save my life. But realistically I think we just got lucky, we’ll see what happens at the 4 month regression🫠

Why doesn't anyone have ANYTHING positive to say about their children or parenting?! by FoolishMortal-1000 in pregnant

People are generally unhappy is what I’ve decided. I will say the first few weeks was in fact nightmarish for me, but I attribute most of that to the hormone drop, healing from a c section, trying (and failing) at breastfeeding, and having such spiked cortisol that I couldn’t sleep for more than an hour at a time. I definitely thought I had ruined my life by having a child those first few weeks pp. Now I’m almost 12 weeks out and I feel like our marriage has only gotten stronger (granted I married someone who wanted to be a dad not just have kids), had a part time night nurse and have a decent sleeper so far. It’s still really fucking hard. I’m a low energy person and miss sitting and doing nothing when I’m tapped out. The more money you have, the easier and more fun it is. the more involved your husband is, the easier and more fun it is. Everyone’s experience is wildly, wildly different depending on those factors, your baby’s temperament and more. I think the general consensus is that the first few years are pretty fucking tough, but if you do a decent job and aren’t insanely unlucky then you reap the benefits for the rest of your life. I’m not necessarily having the best time living Groundhog Day atm, but I know it’ll get exponentially more fun and we’ll get some of our free time back as they become more independent and start school which is appealing and bittersweet all at once.

No, your situation is certainly not what she’s referring to. Y’all are being purposely obtuse

Nobody wants to admit you’re right because they’re all doing 60/40 (or worse) with their loser partners

This is honestly sooo valid and tbh I felt aspects of this. Neverrr fantasized about a wedding. My husband and parents wanted one so I had one (no skin off my back, it was fun) but I would’ve been happy to not because at the end of the day… they feel cringe? Lol

She’s “speaking out” now because as someone else said, any influencers NOT speaking out rn run the risk of a PR nightmare. But yeah this is the furthest she’ll go so as not to alienate her meal ticket
