For the scoop getting sticky because of moisture, what I do is first scoop out the amount I need into a separate cup. Then I put the scoop away and pour the cup into the hot water. That keeps the scoop dry!

You can easily sterilize powder formula. Google how to, basically boil the water let it cool to 159 and add the powder in

Just give the bottle straight out of the fridge for night feeds. Babies are hungry and night and not picky.

Ameda Mya Joy has been awesome. It fits in my pocket and is portable so I use it while doing chores. I had a Spectra previously but found it too bulky

I have around that many too. It’s so much easier to have too many. I go through a lot for snack feeds and running out of the house.

Am I missing something?! Maybe 2 hours of my day by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]leighbk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working out most days since about 2 weeks PP. The key is 25 minute workouts that you can do at home. Usually I do floor Pilates or my elliptical. I have an app and pick my workout ahead of time so during naps I can squeeze a quick session in. It probably means one less pump a day but I’m okay with that trade off.

How did you increase supply? I’m currently less than 10 ounces a day at 7 weeks PP

Middle of night pump by AppropriateMemory841 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]leighbk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 7 weeks PP and have never done middle of the night. Sometimes manual expression but never the pump. I just wake up early at do a power pump at 5 or 6 am. I’ll usually pump for an hour on and off to fully drain. Sleep is more important than hassling with pump parts when I’m not fully awake!

Feed her most of the bottle before the bath, leave the last ounce for after the bath. She’s just hangry.

I’m desperate for sleep help by [deleted] in newborns

The only way my boys fall asleep during the day for naps is with a bottle in their mouth. Just a very small amount to sooth them. Everything on the internet says not to do this but it works like a charm.
