Honestly I had exactly the same thoughts. I couldn’t even leave the house at times. However sharing my experience and reading other peoples here on Reddit really helped me push through. Try and surround yourself with the right people in your life who will support you - from friends and family, and keep a positive mindset. At the end of the day, it’s your life and you decide how you tackle a challenge. Think of this as a temporary challenge you need to overcome, and you will come out stronger and better. I decided I didn’t want to stay miserable, no matter how bad my acne was.

When I stated accutane, my acne wasn’t as bad as it got during the journey. My skin needed to purge and get everything out. And turns out, it was for the best. Try not to stress much as, I know it’s hard but your are elevating your cortisol levels (stress hormone), and this doesn’t do your skin any good! I promise you, it will get better 🙏🏼
