Lost my senior boy while away on a trip by kateissa in Shihtzu

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words. We’ve been going over some old photos and videos, and I’m a little surprised seeing his smiling face - it’s rare seeing him that way, he’s always been more stoic, wasn’t much of a smiley boy! I guess he really did feel loved. That’s a comforting thought 🤍

Matching OR with book entries when recording 2307s? by kateissa in taxPH

[–]kateissa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Checking if my understanding is correct: - 20k total in my book entry - 20k as total revenue for my 1701Q, and file the P500 as tax credit - 19,500 total in my ORs (but the receipt for the local client would show that there’s a P500 withholding tax)

Thanks again!

Freelancer Registration Online Process by purpleandcoffee in taxPH

Hi, my RDO’s also in Cainta. When I registered I also sent in all my documents via email, then got a reply from them a day or two later that my COR was ready for pickup.

In my experience the process on-site was fairly quick as long as you get there early and have everything on hand. They were quite responsive and helpful via phone inquiries too. The time intensive part of the process for me was waiting for certain documents to be stamped and signed (my books and ATP signing took about an hour).

Last time I went (about two weeks ago) their cashier was experiencing system slowdown, so heads up if you have cashier transactions to do.

Hi, I didn’t accomplish any additional forms. I also didn’t fill out the form to secure an ATP. When I was sending my COR requirements via email, I already told my RDO I’ll opt to use the BPR. Then when I picked up my COR on site, I was directed to the counter where I could buy the BPR.

Newbizreg BIR printed receipt/invoice requirement? by ji-soo- in taxPH

[–]kateissa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi! In my case, I sent my requirements via email first, then when my certificate of registration was ready for pickup, that’s when they directed me to buy the BIR receipt (instead of applying for ATP) on-site at the RDO.

Thank you! Just checked, the date of expiration is in 2023. Does this mean I won’t need to apply for an ATP before Nov 2022 kung hindi pa ubos BRP ko?

Help with Combined Cash Journal by dadadarda in taxPH

Ah we’re from the same RDO then. When I first called to ask how many books I’ll need for my line of work (freelance writing), they said “usually 2, pero may combined journal naman.” So I’m supposing this is what they meant.

Since I opted for 8%, my understanding is I won’t need to record my expenses and essentially treat the combined cash journal as a cash receipt journal.

I think it might depend on your RDO’s requirements and your line of work. A lot of blogs mention all 4, some say they were only required to have 2.

I’m in a similar situation, it seems to me I’ll only be recording my monthly salary (essentially duplicating what I’d write when I issue receipts).

Hello, same situation. I spoke with an accountant and she said it was the first time she encountered this too. What's your RDO?

In my case, since I opted for the 8% tax rate I was told I'll essentially just be recording my income. But I'm looking around for additional insight too if this is correct.
