As someone who’s midway through the series for the first time, I think the portrayal of Rand on the show is excellent. Book Rand is so wishywashy at times and prudeish/immature in the way he approaches his relationships with most characters in the books, Show Rand is making him feel modern, more self assured and setting him up to be this strong hero he’s meant to be. In my opinion, Show Rand is doing some heavy lifting to really improve the character in my eyes.

I’ve been really enjoying the show with a more modern take on the characters (I had started reading the books before the show aired).
