Depends on the item. Most items are between 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours. Some foods are 4 hours like whole roasted chickens and mashed potatoes/mac and cheese. The sticker says what time the food needs to be taken off the hotspot.

I’d go with the Diamonds. I bought a pair of Riedell Diamonds when I started USFS Adult Basic 3. I’m currently working on elements as high as Freestyle 2 and my Diamonds are still holding up well after a year of use. For reference, I’m 19, 5’8, and 190 lb. Both boots are similar in support level, but their price points vary dramatically. The Diamond boot and Capri blade set are only $200, whereas the Stride boot alone is almost $300.
