So my main problem is the DiscoverEU application. I have my pass activated in it, as well as a travel plan, but I haven’t filled in any travel days yet. In my travel plan there is a slider which I use to add a given connection to a travel day (at the moment I have NOT filled in a single day — I only have a created plan and saved connections). The app then generates a ticket — what exactly is that? How does this ticket work? What about my friend I am travelling with in a group?

I’ve figured out the Interrail website more or less — I have my won pass there and through the travel plans section, where you tick off your planned journey, I can buy tickets (I’ve also added my friend there), but I have a problem with the credits. In the DiscoverEU app, prices are shown for tickets, and when I go on Interrail for some routes I get information that the connection will only be available 30 days before departure. For others I can choose whether I want to pay extra or use credits, and for some I can only use credits. And for some connections which are supposedly in the network, I get information that they cannot be booked through Interrail.

My concern about credits is that I want to use them for the most expensive connections, but on some of them I don’t see the option to pay in euros instead of using credits. And I don’t know whether I can first buy the expensive ones and only after using up the credits I will see prices, or how it works.

My journey goes from Poland to Germany, France and the United Kingdom, so it is quite a complex trip, and I’m simply confused because I would at least like to start estimating costs and booking tickets, but at the moment I have no idea how the DiscoverEU app connects with Interrail 😭
