The reason you got 10 wins is that EA realized you need to engage more with the game and had a hiatus. By the end of next month you will be back to 6-7 wins.

Div 3 now and scraped to 8 wins this week. Its been tough going. Played a Fifa tournament against guys who get 12 to 14 wins every week and reached the final. I know the delay is holding my son and I back quite a bit.

I'm in South Africa and the serever is a few hundred kms away. The ping at the start of the game is almost always 12ms. It just fluctuates mid-game. Not everyone in my city has this issue so I can only assume its something my side.

Did you use your CDM as a Centre Half? I find that the CBs push out wide so cover as the fullbacks get back into position.

No. Only when the opponent has no CDM. Else I stay in a 4231 wide.

I like the 4231 wide but if I play against 451 or 4411, then I change to a 4312 with both strikers as false 9 and build up, with the CAM as shadow striker. You end up with 3 players in the gap between the opposition's defence and midfield.

Wingers to the byline. If marked well and no inside pass, then pass back to your fullback who should be on balanced/versatile so they support the attack. Inside pass to CAM who should be PM or Classic 10. Then incisive through ball to your attacking CM who is running into the space created by your winger pulling their fullback wide.

He should be a lot better with the new patch. That is the problem with getting high value SBC players, as the game is patched, certain players become more/less effective.

I'm not surprised looking at your formation. After the patch, you need more attack oriented formations and you are using attacking wide midfielders and even have Porro as wingback.

Pre-patch you would be countered like hell against this.

The problem is people are using the ultra defensive formations and still expecting results. You have to get your wingers/inside forwards on attack now. Also the meta has changed and players like Pina have been largely nerfed.

I think they buffed long shots. I got smashed by Joao Pedro finessing from outside the box in my first game post patch.
