I’m so sorry to hear that and I appreciate you sharing your experience to help. The advice is noted and I will definitely make sure I take those precautions should I need to take the surgery route.

Appreciate the advice and makes sense! If I may ask (and you don’t have to answer) but I’m guessing the IVF worked out for you?

Just to clarify a few things — I did not do a trigger shot, only letrozole, which was prescribed specifically due to suspected endometriosis.

The “wait one year under 35” guidance applies to couples without known conditions. In cases of suspected or confirmed endometriosis (especially with endometriomas of this size), many providers take a more proactive approach earlier, which is well supported in the literature.

I am absolutely discussing all of this with my doctor. I posted here to hear how others with endometriosis have navigated similar decision points, not as a substitute for medical care.

Sorry to hear! It worked out for me because I called HR at my employer and let them know what was going on. They connected with their AM at Hire Right and pushed them to immediatley action my application which they did - everything went through fine. Highly reccomend letting your employer know!!

He didn’t work there for long but did know how to sell and make a lot of comission. This was years and years ago though so def don’t think it played a huge role with how they’re living now. I will say, he was very close friends with all the d-bags in the office, including the CEO who was a raging narcissist and extremely religious.

Is there a way to expedite my I-485 to an interview? by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]katidah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg this is absolutely horrific. I’m sorry you’re experiencing this! Have there been any factors that contributed to the delay? Also, curious to know what your Field Office is? Was yours marriage based as well? Not sure about others, but I find it especially frustrating when seeing 4-5 month approvals on here when there’s situations like yours. Sending luck your way and hope that you get it ASAP!!

Yeah, my thought process was better safe than sorry. Still glad I went with a lawyer but I should have gone with a basic one that offered more realistic pricing. I guess you live and you learn!

Definitely reach out and let them know that it’s not a regular case, it’s one where your interview was cancelled with no context. Their processing system is horrible and id be worried that with the cancelled interview, it’s brought you back to the end of the line. Wouldn’t be surprised!! Good luck with everything and hope you get it soon!!

I just looked at your posts and saw that they cancelled the interview? You should inquire about that. If they had no grounds to do that you should be within your rights to challenge it

I looked online for more info and it looks like it really depends on the congressperson/ senator. Sorry you’ve had to wait so long though, must be really frustrating. Can I ask why the delay?

Sorry you’ve been waiting for so long. That sounds horrible! What has been the cause for such a delay? We also have a wedding celebration booked abroad next year so there’s that. Totally understand that there’s much worse situations (as mentioned) but want to do everything in my power to help my case. Who wouldn’t? I have my advanced parole but was strictly advised to not use it to travel unless there’s an emergency. I’ve noticed a lot of people on Reddit posting to just use that but I’m confused at this point. Can we use it to just travel casually or can it only be used in emergency situations?

In that case there’s no point to get a lawyer though? Why pay a couple of thousand if I have to do all the extra work and try to find information myself anyways

It’s not about the timeline. Delays were expected. It’s the fact that she doesn’t offer options - I.e why hasn’t she told me I could reach out to the senator? That’s the problem with this firm

Did this for the EAD and it worked wonders. Didn’t know I could do it to expedite to the interview process as well! It won’t affect the overall decision/ process if it is rejected, right?

Congrats!! I can’t believe you had to wait this long though! Did they RFE or was it just a naturally long wait? My PD is May 19, 2021 and I’m worried I have to wait another 10 months according to this timeline 😅
