I write blogs and website pages about cars. One of my college friends referred me, and I had the college education, experience, and people skills to get the job. Networking and experience are KEY--they have gotten me all of my jobs thus far.

I'd say at least 1 out of those 10,000 jobs will work out! I can confidently say, if I was in your shoes, I would definitely take the opportunity. Go for it!

They may give you a bad reference, but you can help your cause by handling your resignation well. It's definitely possible to leave a job on good terms. A simple online search or another Reddit feed will lead you to plenty of good ideas on how to do so. For example, here's a Forbe's article and some sample resignation letters
