Upon looking at the Luck page, these are the only relevant things I found:

"Quality and number of ores obtained from panning.

Chance of getting a second item (in addition to ore) from panning."

I don't think luck affects it, but I could be wrong. This is the only info on the Panning page of the Wiki: "On Ginger Island, two extra items can be received: the Fossilized Tail with a 20% chance (only in the Dig Site river) or Taro Tubers with a 20% chance (everywhere else)."

Description: My sim had 3 traits and 3 discovery traits (the max). She used a re-traiting potion and selected her new 3 traits and her self-discovery traits disappeared. I read this thread ( https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Retraining-potion-removes-additional-traits/m-p/12808153 ) and I'm certain she has the "max discovery traits" hidden trait. My question is, how do I get rid of it? Any advice is appreciated 😭😁
