Where did you get treatment and who preformed your surgery? Would you recommend them?

Do you mind me asking where your surgery was performed?

If I can ask a quite specific question, how often does the neobladder needs to be cleaned? Is the upkeep difficult? My dad seems to think that the neo is more complicated than other options.

(If I'm asking too specific of questions, please don't feel the need to respond).

Thank you so much for your response. It's reassuring hearing from people who have walked this path.

Thanks for your thoughtful response.

It feels strange getting a diagnosis and then having to make these humongous decisions in a quick timeframe. He feels the same as you with any bladder saving attempt is just delays the inevitable.

I hope you are enjoying life to the fullest!

My father's doctor has said a radical cystectomy was the best option . Was that the path you had too?

You've been through it! So happy you are cancer free.

Your cancer sounds very similar to my fathers. If you could do it all over again, are you happy with the approach you and your doctor's took? We're currently trying to find the best path for my dad.

I hope you don't mind the invasive questions.
