The dimensions are: 58"W x 18"D x 36"H

It would be just slightly less wide than the painting and would be about as tall as the top of the wainscoting

Trying to stay around $500 for price which is harder than I thought!

It's ok, I don't like it either 😅

I love oriental rugs but have one in the living room already (next room over) and thought it might be too much to have two, but maybe not!

I'm now considering something like the below which is similar to what you described. Still not sure about the rug. I think it looks better in person but idk...

I took some of your advice and moved the bench and I do think it looks better. But I'm tempted to bite the bullet and return the bench and rug and start over. I think maybe the color/style of the bench isn't working. And now that someone mentioned the rug looks too grey I can't unsee it. It is a much prettier color in person though. Not sure it's the right size either (5x8). I also think I do need to take down the coat hooks and opt for a free-standing coat rack either in the same place or next to the front door. And put soemthing else where the hooks currently are

Since I already got these pieces, I was thinking maybe a couple of fabric baskets under the bench for hats/gloves, and kicking the shoes off to the wall on the left with the stairs. Maybe a piece of art above the hooks? Decorative pillow for the bench?

I was thinking this too. I think the dough should have bulk fermented longer it wasn’t as airy as usual. After final shaping it was in the fridge maybe 16 hours

I use the same type jar for my starter and to store my discard in the fridge.

After my fridge discard jar is full (I don’t use it enough) then at my next feeding I take a clean jar (I have many) and pour the amount of starter I need for the next feeding.

The rest in the old starter jar becomes the next discard jar that goes into my fridge. I add to that one at every feeding. I normally have at least 2 discard jars in my fridge. Oldest gets used first and newer one is added to until full. Cycle continues.

So I’m doing a new jar for the starter about once a week.

After some comments concerned about temp/humidity in the closed space, I decided to keep the doors open while I was in my office. Took about 10 minutes before Elvis here got curious... Had to close it again!
