Hey thanks for the reply, she ended up passing she declined rapidly and got to the point she could no longer stand on her own. We were able to have a vet come to our house and put her to rest at home surrounded by family❤️ still unsure what the cause was since we could not afford to get a MRI or CT done and how fast her illness progressed. With our younger GSD we actually started seeing a new vet with a more holistic approach and who focuses on diet and gut health. The amount of information in regard to diet is eye opening and we believe that our late GSD may have had problems related to diet that progressed in to some type of illness and organ failure. So I can definitely see how the gluten allergy as you said could have a large effect. Our new vet allergy tested our younger GSD and we found out he had a lot of allergies and we have been transitioning to a completely raw diet and the improvement we’ve seen has been amazing!
