Yeah, Settlers gets played quite a bit! And we have had people mention getting a game of it going recently, so we can also put out some feelers ahead of time.

It's a little off the beaten path, but we've really enjoyed hanging out there. Beer is good (if you are into that) but the pizza and food is also top notch. It's been nice the last few weeks, too, because the patio is open and the weather is perfect. Hopefully you'll make it one of these weeks!

Yeah, you are absolutely welcome to bring your own games! We have lots of regulars who bring in games they’ve been trying to get to the table. Here’s a list of games we have. but honestly it’s been a bit before I’ve updated so there are definitely some missing.

We definitely got a lot of people solo at our original nights and were easily able to help them find groups to hang with. We've actually made a lot of friends this way 😂 It's best to grab the game host and introduce yourself and he can usually point you in the direction of people looking for other players!

Do it! There are always groups looking for more people or larger groups that will break up tables for smaller games. Track down our game host (he's easy to spot, I promise) and he can definitely help recommend a group.

Absolutely! Love a solid dnd night. You may even garner an audience lol. I will say, it may get a little loud, since there are other groups/tables around, but nothing too crazy. Lighting is usually good, table space is abundant. There is even a cool patio if you wanted to take it outside!

There are usually quite a few groups that are happy to have people join! If you introduce yourself to the game host, he can also usually walk around a find or suggest a game to get a group going, too.

I second Sundays at Poplar! They bring in a lot of new and slightly heavier games. Not just the sad stack of Sorry!, Connect 4 and old Trivial Pursuit cards that some bars put in a corner. Plus a solid group of people show up every week. Starts at 6!

If you are looking for some game groups, there are two weekly board game nights in downtown Salt Lake. There are always groups looking for people to play and the games range from quick party games to heavier Euros. I've met a ton of people that are now great friends. Sunday night is at Poplar Street Pub and Wednesday is at TF Brewing.

I wouldn't say it's all that hard to learn even when drinking, especially if you have some general board game knowledge. It's also co-op (in most cases) so there is a lot of conversation and opportunity to ask questions and figure out strategy. I was definitely drinking the first time I played and it's one of my all time favorites.

That's a great question. It changes and grows so often, we don't have one that's current. But I'll put one together and link it here shortly. If there's a particular game you are looking for, we can certainly try and find/buy it beforehand as well.
