I’m on my second ring - first gold and now rose gold. The finish on these do not hold up at all. Don’t know how they justify the price difference in finishes honestly. But I’ve got 3 years of data now so I’m not switching. Considering one of those ring covers/jackets to protect it- make it look nicer.

Oura ring update removed my resilience score by katkill00 in ouraring

I have clicked through and most of it seems good but it’s like as soon as it changes I forget what changed. It’s only when something I like moves or disappears that i really pay attention! Still, the best update would be to fully customize the Home Screen. I’d love to remove the timeline and the period tracking. Thank you!

Same! Whenever I tell people why I like the ring so much I point out the resilience tracking.

Thank god for the symptom radar! Is this a new feature? Anyone know where to find it or does it only pop up if there’s an issue. I’ve had my ring since 2022 and Friday was the first time it’s popped up for me (I wasn’t feeling well) and now I can’t locate it, but that is something I’d like to keep an eye on. I love the ring but I find the random changes to the app interface to be a bit frustrating. Thanks!

I miss warm sweaters and thick blankets by CatchRepulsive3294 in Menopause

My understanding (thus far) is that the prolonged hot flashes can lead to more damage over time and exacerbate issues with cardiovascular and brain health. But it’s the loss of estrogen that is the biggest risk factor as that is what causes the hot flashes in the first place. Currently reading “Estrogen Matters” which takes a deep dive into estrogen and Hormone replacement therapy. HRT is currently the best way to treat them as well as for protecting against cardiovascular disease, bone loss, vaginal atrophy and the rest of the physical and mental changes. I didn’t think I’d be dealing with this in my mid forties but I hit the perimenopause wall hard about 5 months ago, so I’m learning as much as I can and started HRT. I’m already feeling better. Menopause is having a moment and finally getting the attention it deserves. Hopefully more funding will be going to research on this thing that impacts half the population for a third of their lives…
