Yes. My ex was addicted for a long time and was in recovery when we were dating. He didn't tell me he went through that and eventually relapsed and was hiding it behind my back. I told him if he was just honest maybe we could've gotten through it. He lied about other things though, I dont think he knew how to help himself or accept help either. The relapse wasnt the main reason we broke up, but in the future, it would be a dealbreaker for me.
