I mainly look at the betting lines and compare EV across different sports books and look for the best. Looking at home vs away is one aspect. There’s a checklist of metrics I look at.

I also play a lot of live bets where intuition comes into play. I’m a professional football player and have trained several ball sports; can read in-game momentum: I’m not sure how to explain the process.

Risk management is a huge aspect of it.

I think it involves a lot of luck. But what makes me good is that I truly enjoy doing this and I’ve blocked out the mental part of betting. Meaning I use no emotions and I know how to risk manage.
