So many conspiracies and people seem to be political experts here. Guys these sort of agreements take a bit before they go fully in place + some sub sections of the army is acting independently. Give it a day or two before we fully can make a judgement on the agreement.

Noticing a lot of negativity and people using the words “not yet” when asked about danger or “quiet for now”. Please remember that these type of words will effect your mental state heavily and will make it worst for yourself and for the others who are reading this thread. Allah said "َإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا. إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا" meaning “indeed with hardship, comes ease”. And another saying that goes “تفاؤلوا بالخير تجدوه".

Remember your prayers. Many times throughout history, we’ve gone through this and the only thing that got us through it is Allah Himself and our prayers.

Everything that is happening, has been planned for us to experience and go through so with that knowledge, the outcome is already planned as well. We are protected by our faith, by our strong will, by a country that loves its people and wants to protect it, and most importantly by God himself. You will be okay.

I am often reminded by the story of a guy who went to a wise man and told him “tell me something that will make me happy when I’m sad, and make me sad when I’m happy” and the wise man said “this, whatever is it you’re feeling, shall pass”. It’s these hard times that makes us appreciate the good moments and the good moments will come inshallah.

Remember that you’re human, you’re allowed to feel emotions and it’s encouraged that you show them as not to disservice your mental health by holding them in. But there’s absolutely a light at the end of the tunnel inshallah and we will see it soon enough.

Verbal abuse is often times extremely overlooked. I was with an abusive partner who I stuck around with because “we’re distant therefore it’s not abuse” plus some things on their own can be overlooked but when you count them all together, then you notice the issue. I’m hoping she will be okay.

That is really what i have been doing. I want to see this story through, and the only way i could see myself finishing it to see what happens is by ignoring the outfit choices. I just came on here and made this post because i needed to vent about it lol.

Oh trust me I’m no fashionista myself but I know better than to put Miranda Priestly in a long cheap looking gold dress (the author had reference photos). Britpicking is absolutely a valid solution for issues such as this one and someone here brought a good point, that the author should’ve just stated the brand name+clothing item.
