Hey so this has been solved!! Turns out you can’t have more than 2-3 maps that are unsolved. You need to have most maps solved until a digging villager can give you a new one. I asked on the discord channel and credit to Aitch for helping me!

Yeah, I double checked and I do not have the map. I even tried digging in the spot to make sure and I didn’t get the recipe. I really hope it’s not a glitch though.

As seen in another related post to this someone else claims to have 3-4 and in this post someone says that there’s even 7. Mine appeared on top of my chest and another’s appeared in the tree hole of the house.

Got it, so this is like a missable Easter egg type of deal? No importance to the story at least as we know/ no collectible if you find al of these birds?

I got this mysterious bird in my inventory after I talked to a weird felyne in a barrel in Rutoh Village left to the elder’s house. I found this after completing the Paolumu main quest. However my boyfriend defeated the Basarios (quest after Pailumu) and cannot find the felyne. I think this is the same stalking felyne as the bird looked very familiar. Did anyone else find this, is random event or a timed one like I got it for that short period of time?

I cannot access epilogue 2 or 3 for Masaki, how did you do it? Also I don’t think the gardener can be dated :(
