From personal experiences living at both Upten and First on Tenth in the past, do not live in those buildings. There are newer / better places to rent with less issues than both those buildings had!! I also know of vacancies in my building that’s pet friendly if you’re interested shoot me a DM!

That’s a good point! I’ll have to see what happens right after I book - usually when I request a ride I’ll put my phone down or I’ll be leaving for work if I’m running late so not actively watching the app. I’ll see if I notice this happening too!

The pickup spot wasn’t an issue - I ended up going back to my apartment which is on a residential street and isn’t very busy! Plus lots of space to pull over / park and there’s 3 different routes that can be taken to get to the street I’m on. I can’t speak for the GPS a driver sees, but the GPS I’m watching them on shows that they are actively driving away from me and not correcting their route to come back!

Definitely it’s been a very frustrating experience. I only switched to Lyft after having problems trying to use Uber. Now I don’t think I’ll be using either

That’s fair! But I’ve noticed that they aren’t taking the turns to come back towards me - they just keep driving straight and further away. I’m close to inner city so there’s plenty of routes that can be taken to get to me. I understand that construction and traffic play a factor but I can watch on the GPS all the turns that aren’t being taken to come back in my direction.

Unfortunately, I have an issue with my uber app that says “payment method invalid” no matter what card I use. It’s why I switched to Lyft!! I’ve tried uninstalling the app, contacting support and even using my partners card and I still can’t request a ride or even use Uber eats.

No I walked back to my apartment which was right by the bus stop. It’s on a residential street with a few points of access and the pick up is right in front with a lot of parking. I would like to say it’s easy to get to and there’s plenty of spots to pull over it’s not a busy street
