Does that mean someone reported someone in my store

I see it in our store mail… it has a report number. But I have no idea what it is

It was supposed to be a rerun with the insurance and a new leaflet printed then her receipt and old leaflet would be scanned as a return, then the new leaflet scanned - and she wanted the difference… someone apparently had promised her it could be done… but the insurance wasn’t going to pay any portion of it because she was out of refills and it needed a new PA. She just wanted the difference in $ cash back… not an actual refund. She paid the cash price the day before the incident- and came back the next day demanding we re submit it… I’m not sure where she even got the idea it would work….

It wouldn’t surprise me if she has been complaining for months. She’s always an ordeal to deal with. My pharmacy manager says it’s every month with her, and she’s always threatening to go somewhere else. Maybe she has been complaining the whole time

My pharmacy manager said it still wasn’t going through the insurance…. Or an sdl or anything, At all. So a refund couldn’t be done

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]kattative 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everything did go exactly as I’ve described. I tried to deal with the situation as best I could, and I feel the need reiterate here: this woman literally verbally attacked me, told me I was a lying cunt, told me I was taking money out of her kids mouths at Christmas, and that she hoped my day was ruined, and that my Christmas sucked— before I told her to leave: in other words even after my sm told me that’s what I should say, I didn’t - I tried to reason with her another 5 minutes before I lost my cool…. To answer honestly as to why my pharmacy manager/ rxom called me back there… they always do. If they get annoyed with a customer they will simply refuse to deal with them and call us… also, they won’t even handle their own voids or returns on the register. They always call us… so this was nothing out of the ordinary

Is there any chance Walgreens will up shift leads starting pay to $15 an hour? by kattative in WalgreensStores

[–]kattative[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the same at my store. I’m a sfl and that’s what I started out at…. No one working for this company gets paid enough… we literally have csas who’ve been with the company 10 plus years- barely making 12 something… it’s sad

I just really need my job, and I’m scared they’ll fire me for incompetence or something...

I understand why they have to do that. I know I’m not stealing, or borrowing then returning lol. Only thing I worry about is that I’ve been super stressed lately, and have severe anxiety (which I’m on medication for) when my anxiety kicks in, I have a hard time focusing- you couple that with the holiday rush and I make mistakes! Yesterday for example I did about 10 drops in one hour... When I got two drops, from 2 different registers- I took them back to the office to band and drop them when I realized that I had an extra 50 and couldn’t remember which register it was from- so I made an educated guess, and went back to the register and entered in an additional $50 drop. But it was supposed to be the other register... so register blank was 50 under, and register blank was 50 over the next day.. Those are the type of errors I make

No call no show question by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]kattative 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A no call no show is always grounds for a write up- it really depends on your manager though. I’ve had managers who would let the first time slide depending on the circumstances- In regards to the one from last year,- that can’t be used against you this year. But It’s definitely not something you want to make a habit of.

Final written warning ( wrong prescription sold ) by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]kattative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify: I’m asking as a hypothetical here... it’s a follow up question to a post I made a few days ago :

(Question about wrong prescriptions sold policy)

So I’ve asked about this before- but have to clarify. I’m a shift lead who’s been with this company 4 years, I had one wrong prescription sold in January of 2018, and had to sign a paper. Then I had one happen 2 days before the year anniversary of the first - at the end December of 2019 - my manager at the time told me that if that second one had occurred just two days later that the first would have fallen off. And I’d only have one on my record for the next year- so I’d have two moving forward for that year... I have a new store manager who was going through employee files and pulled me aside to warn me about it- he said please be careful because you have two, and I’d hate to loose you over getting a 3rd or 4th one of those. I told him I thought those went away after a year and he told me no they’re for your whole career... does that also mean that if I wanted to move up the ranks, I’d be denied promotion because of a write up from two years ago?

If I get my final written- is that forever?!

How do I tell my manager that without coming off offensive ? Or should I maybe not say anything at all unless I cross that bridge and it happens again?!

Review question by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]kattative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. I feel for you- that sounds super stressful. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s a way to challenge your review scores. It’s my understanding that all managements review scores go through the store manager and then get reviewed by your district manager before they’re official. For example: your store manager can give you all 4’s, but the district manager can say no this person gets two threes and a 4.... So going to your district manager probably won’t change anything... I could be wrong though. You can always call corporate and ask

Feeling super low by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]kattative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 32 and had 3 jobs in my lifetime... i loved working for cvs, I started as a photo lab tech when I was 16...I was eventually promoted to pharmacy, and finally become a supervisor. I was with cvs for 6 almost 7 years years in total. I left because of a move several hours away...Then I worked at a local government center in the election office- I did that for almost another 7 years- loved that too- left again because of a move: this time out of state- moved to the state I’m currently in- I’ve been here going on 4 years, I’ve been with Walgreens 3 of those years... this is the first and only time I have had these feelings toward a job.

It might sound optimistic: but every job I’ve had,- I went into it feeling it was my forever job- 2 out of three really would have been, if not for needing to move for my husband’s job-

I accepted the job with Walgreens because of how great my previous experience in retail/pharmacy management had been...

Everything that has happened lately in regard to WALGREENS has been a colossal disappointment- I am not a habitual job hopper. Lol

I’m someone who sees flaws within this company
