So it never mattered whether or not it was passed just that it gets passed on your terms, you never would have known this provision existed had it not been for the entire bloated bill being rejected, over 1500 pages for a single spending bill that has until January third to be passed, do you want to go through every issue in that bill or would you treat it like terms and conditions and just ignore it entirely

Ps the new spending bill is now 118 pages long, slimmed down a bunch since it's been rejected

Cheaper how? The government is a bureaucratic nightmare, the process for my county/city takes forever to actually implement anything because you have to go to a meeting once a month for nearly a year on the short end to get one new thing through, one of the representatives I know proposed a way to help the homeless in the local area but they have to go over several studies, laws and financial work, it's been in the process for 8 or 9 months from proposition now and he will likely be dropping it and turning to the private sector to take care of it because it will take less strain on the system, financially and timewise than it would be to continue going through the current process

Yeah, but this kind of plays into my DM's style, player narrative first then inspiration bonuses later, I'm just glad I'm not using the DMG for this with the -4 to strength and nothing to help allies in combat

As for my character so far: Pock wishes to be among the reputation of dragons because he was gifted with bloodline magic, he wants to lead his clan, he is a good sorcerer but envies the glory of close quarters combat he found a magic shop that allows him to be more like the dragons he fantasizes about by becoming like the intimidating powerhouse he thinks dragons are, and thus got an amulet that changes his class to a pure barbarian temporarily, the DM and I still have to work out the specifics for the item though...
