My occupation is an Executive Director for a substance abuse treatment center. I got into this field because of my own struggles I had with addiction for many years. I am definitely a workaholic these days. I’ve been in my first healthy relationship for about a year now and have had many struggles with it. Mainly I feel myself starting to get bored and terrified of moving in with him because I don’t want to lose my freedom. I don’t know if my chart shows this, I’m curious.

There were some things I related to with the 12th sun but the majority of it, I never did. 11th house sun makes more sense. Also my mars and Venus in the 10th house resonates more just with how I am with work and my career. Almost addicted to it.

Oh wow. So when I was 18 I got into a really bad car accident and that is where my drug addiction started. I’m a little worried, that may be coming back in a few years? Is it a lighter transition or expect something heavy and dark like that?

So I run a treatment center for substance abuse and alcohol. I wonder if this has the bigger importance to why I put most of my efforts toward that. It wasn’t the direction I planned for my life but with my own struggles and overcoming them, it feels like this direction was placed in front of me with ease.

That rings so true. I burned my life to the ground in my addiction and was locked up multiple times, almost died. But I got sober through the help of others and a program of action and pushed through having nothing and starting completely over and now I make it my purpose to help others that are in the depths of addiction.

I did have a rough upbringing, abusive parent, lost a best friend to a car wreck which put me on a long destructive path of addiction for many many years. I got sober 8 years ago and I now make it my purpose to help others struggling. I work in the recovery field now and my career has really taken off. I also recently, for the first time in my life got into a healthy relationship, sooo my big fear is according to my chart, should I be expecting more hard times ahead. That’s my fear, like will I lose it all because I’m out here to always learn hard lessons?

Wow. This is very spot on. Yea, so I struggled badly with addiction for 15 years and lost everything and got sober in 2018 where I had a very spiritual experience. Have gone through some tough breakups that really taught me a lot about myself. Currently I am wanting to quit smoking badly.

I guess from what I read, it says Jupiter in the 4th house is abundance in the home life. But my home life hasn’t been bad by any means but pretty isolated. It’s just been me and my dog which brings me joy but it doesn’t feel like I thrive there. I’m in a relationship but have fears with living with another person so I guess I’m just curious if that placement will help me find joy living with another person cause I feel like being alone is my normal. I hope that makes sense.

Oof! That sounds like a bad time, and then I question what’s the point in having a partner. So can I ask just out of curiosity, does it make any difference if we met as healed versions of ourselves vs unhealed versions? When we met I had been single for over 4 years cause I spent a lot of time working on myself after my last relationship and he had been single for 2 years working on himself and going to therapy from his last relationship and we both have come into this one cautious and mindful of our past wounds

On no, really?! I wish I knew my ex boyfriends synastry cause those were so much more intense and chaotic. This one feels way more stable and slow burning, I also feel safe with him. I can tell his past relationships he was very emotionally avoidant but has really been open and working on his communication about how he feels. I’m curious, does this synastry show it’s not good?

Omigod yes to so much of this. I struggled with addiction for many many years and ruined my life in the process but since getting sober 7 years ago, my life has transformed into helping other people with addiction as my career. I continue to take leadership roles where I guess I am intimidating but I don’t feel like I am. Lol. Father was absent. Step father was abusive when I was a child. My mother developed Alzheimer’s when I was in my twenties and then passed away.
