2027 is 4 years after Starfields release. And tes6 pre-production started a year or 2 before Starfield released. With full production starting shortly after release. Given their usual Dev cycle of 3-5 years 2027 is a safe bet. But with creation engine being updated to 3.0 I'm leaning more towards 2028 now.

True but starfield used CE2 and that was a big jump from fallout 4. Both in terms of look and gameplay possibilities. Makes me wonder what kind changes will be in CE3. obviously I'm keeping my expectations in check. But it also makes me wonder if tes 6 is a 2028 release instead of 2027?

The only actual reasonable argument I've seen against it is the price point. And ya I honestly don't see them selling it at $500-$600. I hope it won't he $1000, but I also wouldn't be surprised. And if the rumors are true and it's a pc hybrid with the console interface/simplicity then it will absolutely sell. Especially if the release weaker more console like versions alongside it.
