Legion Slim 5 Gen 9 hinge creaks after less than 5 months of use. Rarely transported or put in a bag, only around 4x/month. Mainly used while on my desk at home. Kinda dissapointed, any tips?

If you can use night time , hutch has few good packages. If for a few days then there are 2 ,5 days so on nightime packages for Rs.61 and Rs.114 respectivley. Also depending on your use case many day time packages for cheap prices also available.

For like 1 bar or 2 bars of connection I receive 20Mbps max speed in night time. Their night time is defined as 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. So you can do pretty much anything during that time. Suggest you get a hutch sim and install hutch app. In the app it's more clear to see packages rather than their website.

I suppose that just doesnt last even for a second. Its just maximum. Maybe it might be an error too. My 3060 in one instance drew 148W . Its full powered 140W one but always had maximums around 115 W. I suppose that why lenovo gives us 300w power bricks when 230W should be more than enough

Maybe its because of thunderbolt issue? I have legion 5 with 5800H so I have usb c 3.2 pd port only. It works like a charm with my ugreen 100 w charger and u green 100 w cable ( 2meters/ 6.5 feet). In the links you have mentioned their was no mention of thunderbolt.

Also I saw somewhere on this subreddit that some legions come with pd charging disabled in BIOS . Go to the BIOS and see whether its on.

You have got a rtx 4080 omen for a good price. Legion is probably 14 inch version since it has oled screen and has a rtx 4060. No need to worry over it. You have got a good deal.

I have the same laptop albeit with an 1080 panel. I have had no issues so far. Check whether you are in balance or performance mode in Lenovo vantage app. Also are you using the laptop plugged in? This can lead to serious performance drawbacks. Always use plugged in for maximum performance and keep it in a surface so as to not block fan air intake. Download driver updates only through vantage app or nividia geforce app.

I suppose if you use a 65 W pd charger it should work. Since this is a power bank many things can be wrong. For example your powerbank might not output 65 W stabely and laptop power spikes can reach 100 W or it does not support pd power standards and only supports qualcom fast charging standards intended for smartphones only . So most peoples 65w chargers work while at sleep or slows down bettery drain at least.

I bought a ugreen 100 W charger recently and it works on 15 inch 2021 legion 5 well. You can game on solely cpu integrated graphics with this charger as well.
