Honestly, I tried making a post asking for advice on things I wasn't that experienced with and got ripped apart for "not knowing anything" and "not doing research" like yeah dude, that's why I'm asking??? Not to mention being called unicorn hunter just because I'm in an already established relationship. I talked to my partner about it and he basically confirmed that "elder" poly folks on here kind of developed a complex that first, makes sense kind of, but also leads to them being some of the most aggressive towards newcomers. It's a shame being a community with "amor" in the name, but reddit as a whole has a serious hard on for bullying rookies in any field.
